There are a number of ways I can assist you and your family as your representative in the Senate.
I have listed a few of them below.

Constituency Issues

As your Representative in the Australian Parliament, I am available to help with information and advice about anything involving the Federal Government.

Federal Government issues include but aren't limited to: 

  • Government Laws and Policy 
  • Centrelink (including JobSeeker or Pensions) 
  • NDIS 
  • Immigration 
  • Australian Tax Office  
  • Medicare

Seniors & Pensioners Information Kit

The last couple of years living through the Covid‐19 pandemic have been tough for our community. The restrictions on movement to limit the spread of the virus has meant missing out on important social, family and community gatherings, and it has been an isolating time for many older Australians.

In this kit you will find important up to date information relating to:

  • Government services and support, including pension payment rates;
  • Concession Cards, Medicare, and Health;
  • Carers and Carers Allowance; and
  • Contacts for community support services.
  • State-Specific Resources for Victorian Seniors

The kit is free to read online. To request a physical copy of the kit, please get in touch with my office.

Little Black Book of Scams

The Little Black Book of Scams is a short book helping consumers and small businesses to learn about scams including:

  • the most common scams to watch out for
  • the different ways scammers can contact you
  • the tools scammers use to trick you
  • the warning signs
  • how to protect yourself, and
  • where you can find help.

The Little Black Book of Scams is free to read online. If you would like a physical copy, call my office or get in touch via email. 

Congratulatory Messages

Anniversaries are a very special time in our lives and should be celebrated. Australians celebrating a milestone birthday or wedding anniversary can receive personal congratulations from the Prime Minister, Governor-General or the King. 

Who can receive a congratulatory message? 

  • The Prime Minister will send a message on a 90th birthday and every year after.   
  • The King and Governor-General will send a message on a 100th birthday and every year after. 
  • The Prime Minister and Governor-General will send a message to couples celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary every fifth year after. 
  • The King will send messages to couples celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and every fifth year after, 

You will need to provide supporting documentation to confirm the details of the anniversary or birthday. This may include copies of birth certificates, marriage certificates, government ID with date of birth, or a statutory declaration with the relevant names and anniversary details. 

Congratulatory messages can be posted directly to the recipient’s home address or alternatively to care-of address (such as a friend or relative) for surprises.

Enrolling to Vote

To enrol for the first time or get back on the roll, you can enrol online.  

You will need to provide evidence of your identity. You can use your driver's licence, Australian passport number or have someone who is enrolled confirm your identity.  

It is compulsory by law for all eligible Australian citizens to enrol and vote in federal elections, by-elections and referendums. 

You are eligible to enrol if you: 

  • are an Australian citizen, or eligible British subject, 
  • aged 18 years and over, and 
  • have lived at your address for at least one month. 

If you are 16 or 17 you can enrol now so when you turn 18 you'll be able to vote.

Flag Requests

My office can provide eligible people or groups with Australia’s national flags. The flags available include the National Flag, the Aboriginal Flag and the Torres Strait Islander Flag. 

Who can receive a flag? 

Only Victorian schools, not-for-profit organisations, non-commercial or community organisations, and families of war veterans can request flags. 

If you would like to request any flags, please submit your request to [email protected], include details of your organisation and where the flag or material will be displayed.
