The Albanese Government is making the Mallee an even better place to live, delivering over $6 million for two community infrastructure projects.
The projects successfully applied for funding under Round 2 of the Growing Regions Program, and include:
- $4,805,000 for new Community Facility and Change Rooms at the Horsham City Oval precinct.
- $1,500,000 for the Deledio Recreation Reserve Pavilion Redevelopment.
These projects demonstrate the Government’s commitment to listening to local voices and funding priorities that benefit Victoria’s regions.
The Growing Regions Program is an Albanese Government initiative that funds infrastructure – like cultural and sporting hubs, town precincts and parks – to build community and improve liveability in remote, rural and regional Australia.
It provides funding of between $500,000 and $15 million per project, with $600 million being delivered nationwide under the program. Projects have been chosen after a full merit-based selection process.
